International payment operations

 

International payment operations are a transfer of funds from the principal to the user, who may be an individual person or a legal entity, and they are residents of different countries. The payment operations are performed in accordance with the regulations of each country individually pursuant to accepted international standards that regulate the international economic relations.


All participants in the international payment operations should have a foreign currency transaction account in Capital Bank AD Skopje.


The payment operations are performed through the current accounts in foreign currency of the authorized banks abroad and in the Republic of Macedonia, and through the accounts in foreign currency or in denars of the foreign banks and other non-residents of the Republic of Macedonia regulated by the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia and the Law on Foreign Exchange Operations.

 

 

Required data for sending funds abroad with a remittance – nostro remittances:

  • Name and surname of the person or title of the company – user of the payment;
  • Accurate address;
  • Number of the account or IBAN number (which applies for most Western European countries);
  • Number of the branch i.e. Sort Code, ABA number or BLZ (if possible);
  • SWIFT Code of the bank (the code is compulsory);
  • Document (in accordance with the instructions for performance of international payment operations);
  • Signed forms 1450.


Required information for receiving funds from foreign countries – loro remittances:

  • Name and surname;
  • Address;
  • Account number or IBAN number (available at all Bank counters);
  • The name of our bank CAPITAL BANK AD SKOPJE;
  • Bank address Nikola Kljusev str., No 1, 1000 Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia;
  • Our SWIFT code is KAPBMK22.

Rules of the international payment operations for individual persons – residents and non-residents:


Rules for getting funds:

  • An individual person – resident may receive an unlimited amount of funds from another individual person – non-resident;
  • An individual person – resident may receive an unlimited amount of funds abroad from his/her account only if the person owns a work visa or a stay visa for a period longer than 6 months, and only in the period of validity of the visa and 30 days after its expiry;
  • An individual person can get an inflow from a legal entity – non-resident in an amount which is not limited, however the person would provide information to the bank about the basis of payment. The bank may request additional documentation about the inflow;
  • Signed form 746.


Rules for sending funds:

  • An individual person resident may send funds to the benefit of another individual person – resident of a foreign country non-resident in a maximum amount of 2.500 Euros per month;
  • An individual person non-resident may send funds to the benefit of a legal entity with a seat in a foreign country – non-resident in an amount which is not limited, however the person would have to deliver to the bank a document that shows the basis of payment: invoice, agreement, etc;
  • Transfers abroad of domestic individual persons that refer to family living expenses, tuition, medical treatment, etc. in a counter-value up to 2.500 Euros per month can also be performed without presenting an appropriate document. For amounts of more than 2.500 Euros, a document is compulsorily presented;
  • An individual person resident may send an unlimited amount of funds to his own account abroad if the person owns a work visa or a stay visa for a period longer than 6 months, only in the period of validity of the visa;
  • Individual persons non-residents do not have any limitations in the transfer of funds to and from the Republic of Macedonia or transfers between accounts of the Republic of Macedonia.
